Zetfeed Fetcher

Zetfeed is a news reader. Our fetcher requests feeds that our readers have subscribed to. It is not a crawler and not an AI training scraper. It does not spider your site or follow links.
Identifying us
Zetfeed/1.0 (+https://zetfeed.com/fetcher; 42 subscribers; feed reader)
The number is how many Zetfeed readers subscribe to that particular feed. Please identify us by this User-Agent rather than by IP address, since our addresses change.
How often
Between every 15 minutes and every 6 hours, depending on how often you publish, and once for all of our readers rather than once per subscriber. We send conditional requests, so an unchanged feed costs you a 304 and no body, and we never poll faster than a <ttl> or sy:updatePeriod you declare.
We also request an article's own page when a reader opens it, to load the full text or an image. Those requests may send a generic browser user agent rather than the one above.
